Yorkshire Fact Sheet
* Yorkshire is the largest group home supporting 13 people. Yorkshire does have a Day Services Program at the house, with many people participating as well as a few people from Yorkshire working at the center.
* Duties within Yorkshire: Assisting with Activities of Daily Living, OT/PT, laundry, cleaning, cooking
* A Typical Day
* Assist with bathroom needs, start supper, assist with feeding, pass meds, clean-up kitchen, assist with showers/baths, help with getting ready for bed, laundry, documentation, outings
* On the weekend:
* We love to go on walks, go shopping, take zoo trips and spend 1:1 time with staff
* Within Yorkshire: It’s not easy at Yorkshire. The needs at our house are changing everyday. The pace is not fast moving and people at Yorkshire are not continually on the go like some of the other houses. We have a cool cat! We have a large fenced in back yard & patio. Working here you will learn to improve your cooking skills for large numbers of people. We do have people who live here with dementia. There are always at least 2 staff present at Yorkshire, most of the time there are 4 staff working. We have a great team of employees at Yorkshire. Staffing at Yorkshire during the week is two 11p-7a, two 3p-11p, one 3p-9:30p, one 3p-8p, and one 4p-8p. On the weekends we have: two 11p-9a, one 7a-7p, one 8a-8p, one 9a-9p, one 9a-3p, one 11:30a-11p, and one 3p-11p.
